World's Smallest Slinky

The small print on Slinky

It still walks down stairs. They just have to be small stairs. Our Slinky is a traditional metal coil in a multicolor finish, about 0.75 inches in diameter when coiled, which is narrower than a quarter. Pour it from hand to hand and you get the same rippling motion and the same sound as the big one.

Most of ours end up as desk fidgets. It stretches, bounces and settles back into a neat coil, and it keeps restless hands busy during a long phone call. Drop it into a pocket for later, or stand it on a shelf with other classics. In its package it weighs just 0.11 pounds.
