The small print on Lite-Brite

Dim the room for this one. Our Lite-Brite really works: slide a picture outline onto the board, push the colored pegs through it, and switch on the light to see the design glow. The board measures 3 inches wide by 2.75 inches high, which makes every peg a small test of steady fingers.

In the box you get one light board, 150 pegs in assorted colors, 15 sheets with designs to follow and three LR44 batteries, so it is ready the moment you open it. It is licensed by Hasbro and recommended for ages 8 and up. We keep one on the desk for slow afternoons.

Will Take You Back To Your Childhood
This is amazing. I had one of these as a child and this totally took me back in time. It’s amazingly accurate and as they say, it really works. I put one of the little pattern papers on it and got sucked into it just like I did as a child. Pushing the little pegs in a seeing them light up is so satisfying. I got this to use in scenes with a 1/6 (30 cm) bjd doll I have. It’s the right size with her as compared to a real one and an actual child. Very cute and well-made piece of nostalgia.

So fun to use and so cute
The only thing I would say is that the paper is thin so you can kind of see the circles that don't have pegs in them. It doesn't have the same glow as the OG lite Brite, but that was from inefficient incandescent bulbs so 🤷 Also it's hard to tell the yellow from green pegs. Still it's worth getting, I got one for my sister too and she loved it!

Just like the original
Just like all of the other World's Smallest, this Lite-Bright set is fully functioning. I was surprised at how many pictures papers came with it. The light pegs store in a neat little drawer on the back and the papers slide into the front of the unit. You get a lot for the money with World's Smallest.
